Please Read it Before you Decide to Purchase! <br>All products are shipped from within the US (except for Wall switch control and Signal Cable). <br>If you purchase the model for 16-inch spaced ceiling joists, you will receive two packages: <br>one containing the lift and the other containing the pre-drilled steel bars for installation. <br>Please make sure to wait until you receive the steel bars before starting the installation. <br>The lift supports both concealed and surface mounting. <br>Concealed mounting: requires installing two steel bars across the joists and securing the lift through pre-drilled holes. This method keeps the lift hidden and eliminates the need for a decorative cover, but drywall repair will be required. You can contact a contractor to plan this project. <br>Surface mounting: requires removing a section of drywall based on the joist layout. Install the two steel bars horizontally across the joists, then mount the lift on the steel bars. A decorative cover is then installed underneath. In most cases, drywall repair is unnecessary, as the decorative lift cover effectively conceals the backer board. <br>Note:<br> 1、If there is a significant gap between your lift and the ceiling (drywall) below, preventing the chandelier from reaching the ceiling, you can use a steel chain to connect to the gear underneath the lift. <br>2、And The default lift height range is 10-15 ft. If a greater range is needed, adjust the lift height following the manual. <br>3、Ensure you have enough space for installation based on the selected product dimensions, and arrange for a licensed electrician, handyman, or contractor to complete the installation. <br>4、Only use 110V bulbs; do not use low-voltage (LED/halogen) lights without a transformer. <br>5、If your fixture isn't 110V, ensure it has a compatible transformer. <br>6、Always attach at least 20 lbs when lowering. Without weight, the gears may lock and damage the unit.

If your ceiling joist spacing is greater than 16 inches (e.g., 24 inches), we recommend purchasing the concrete version of the lift and designing your own mounting bracket. You can use a 1/4-inch steel plate or 1/2-inch plywood for drilling holes, or design longer steel channels or bars.
